How to Do Guitar Hero 2 Cheats on Xbox 360 Controller

"Guitar Hero 2" is a popular music video game available on the Xbox 360 console. In the game, players attempt to play numerous rock songs using plastic instrument controllers. Many of these songs can be quite challenging, prompting players to use cheats to get past the most difficult songs. Although these cheats are most commonly entered using the plastic instruments, players can also enter "Guitar Hero 2" cheats using the regular Xbox 360 controller.

  Print a copy of the "Guitar Hero 2" controller conversion table or open the game's manual to access it. The table lists the color buttons available on the instrument controllers and the corresponding buttons on the Xbox 360 controller. In short, the green instrument button equals the left trigger on the Xbox 360 controller, the red instrument key equals the left bumper, the blue instrument button equals the right trigger, the yellow instrument key equals the right bumper, and the orange instrument key equals the A button.

  Select the cheat that you want to enter and navigate to the game's main menu.

  Enter the cheat that you selected by translating the normal instrument keys into Xbox 360 controller buttons using the conversion guide. For example, the "Air Guitar" cheat requires you to press the following buttons: yellow, blue, yellow, orange, yellow and blue. On the Xbox 360 controller, press the following buttons in order: right bumper, right trigger, right bumper, A button, right bumper and right trigger. The cheat was entered correctly if a menu pops up confirming that a cheat was entered.
