How to Update an Xbox Media Centre

The Xbox Media Centre, also known as XBMC, is a graphic interface program. Once installed on an Xbox whose operating system has been modified, XBMC can perform tasks the game console was incapable of previously, such as accessing the Internet, playing backups of legally owned games and downloading programs created by other Xbox gamers. Updating the XBMC program to take advantage of bug fixes and added features must be done through the program itself. The procedure is straightforward and requires the use of a PC and a wired home network.
