How to Log into Xbox

The Xbox 360 has enough games to satisfy anyone's needs, from first-person shooters to puzzles and role-playing games. With games requiring several, if not dozens, of hours to complete, Xbox 360 owners must save data regularly onto a preferred storage unit. In order to save data, however, you must log into your user-created profile. Logging into your profile also allows you to increase your Gamerscore by completing achievements.

     Power on the Xbox 360.

     Open the "Guide" menu by pressing the button on your controller with the Xbox logo.

     Highlight and select "Profiles." If you don't see "Profiles" then choose "Switch profile."

     Highlight and select the profile that you wish to log into. The console will take a moment to log you in.
