Instructions

    • 1

Connect the Xbox to the Internet network by plugging one end of the Ethernet cable into a router and the other end of the cable into the port on the back of the Xbox.

    • 2

Insert the wireless connector into the Ethernet port on the Xbox, if you have a wireless router and wish to connect it wirelessly, instead of through the Ethernet cable as in Step 1. Turn on the console and navigate to the "Settings" option and press enter. Choose "Network Settings" and select "Advanced" then "Wireless" settings option using the arrow keys.

    • 3

Type in your network user name and password, the same words you used when creating the wireless network for your PC.

    • 4

Turn on your PC, go to "Start", then "Programs". Locate and double-click "Windows Media Player" to open the program.

    • 5

Click on the "Library" tab and select "Media Sharing." Click on the check box next to "Share my media to:". Locate the Xbox in the device list, right-click on it and choose the "Allow" option. Choose files listed from the Xbox and click "Import" to watch, play or listen to them on the PC.

    • 6

Turn on the Xbox and go to the "Videos," "Music" or "Photos" menu. Note the PC listed as a media service. Select the PC and view content from your PC on the Xbox.
