Turn off your Xbox 360 game system. Unplug the USB wireless network adapter.
Turn on the Xbox 360 and allow the system to load to the main menu.
Click the ̶0;My Xbox̶1; button and choose ̶0;System Settings.̶1;
Click the ̶0;Network Settings̶1; option, then choose ̶0;Configure Network.̶1;
Navigate to the ̶0;Additional Settings̶1; tab and select ̶0;Restore to Factory Defaults.̶1; This will delete all network settings currently stored on your system.
Choose ̶0;Yes̶1; to confirm the restore and allow the system to make the changes.
Turn off your Xbox 360 and plug the wireless network adapter into the USB port again.
Turn on the Xbox 360 and allow the system to load to the main menu.
Click the ̶0;My Xbox̶1; button and choose ̶0;System Settings.̶1;
Click the ̶0;Network Settings̶1; option, then choose ̶0;Configure Network.̶1;
Navigate to the ̶0;Basic Settings̶1; tab and choose ̶0;Wireless Mode.̶1;
Choose ̶0;Scan for Networks̶1; and allow your Xbox to scan for your network connection.
Select your network and enter the security password if your router has network security.
Click ̶0;Test Xbox LIVE Connection̶1; and allow your Xbox to test your network connection. You should now be able to connect without errors from a duplicate network setting.
