How to Play an Xbox on a VGA Monitor

The Microsoft Xbox gaming system typically connects to a TV with an RCA-type video connection, but adapter cables are available from Microsoft and electronics stores to convert the connection for use with a computer monitor. The typical monitor port is a 15-hole video graphics array (VGA). The Xbox adapter cable converts the video output from the game console into a VGA signal that can be processed on a monitor. Separate stereo cables plug into a stereo receiver for audio.
