Instructions
Turn off the Xbox 360 console.
Unplug the power supply box, controller and all other components from the console.
Clean any dust or material that might be blocking the system's ventilation openings. These must remain open to allow sufficient air flow.
Place the unplugged system in a cool and ventilated area for two hours and allow it to fully cool.
Rearrange the console setup so that both the system and the power supply have access to open air. If you have the system closed up or blocked by other objects, this can cause overheating.
Reconnect the power supply and the components to your system after it has cooled.
Turn on the XBox 360. If everything is working properly, you should see a green ring around the power button.
