How to Use External Hard Drive for Xbox 360

An external hard drive can be used with an Xbox 360 console to backup media files and games. Even though Microsoft offers an external hard drive for its system, an external hard drive will provide you with additional storage space when you need to save your games. A USB adapter is necessary to plug the external hard drive into the Xbox 360 console.
