How to Hook the Xbox 360 Up to a Laptop Monitor

The Xbox 360 comes with several cables, letting you connect it to most televisions and monitors. Laptops, however, present a challenge. Most laptops don't accept video input. They include video-out ports, which export visual display to projectors or other monitors, but they rarely feature video-in ports. If your laptop's video card contains a video-in port, such as one that accepts S-video, follow your Xbox's instructions for connecting to a external monitor. If you don't have such a port, connect using a VGA-to-USB adaptor.
