How to Use Windows Media Player for an Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 is compatible with various media streaming devices, including popular portable ones such as the iPod or Zune. Additionally, the console can receive media from Microsoft computer programs. One of these pieces of software, Windows Media Player 12 (WMP), can be configured to stream to other devices on its network. Once set up, the Xbox 360 can stream movies, TV shows and music, among other things, directly to your television through your console.
