Connect Wireless Network Adapter
Power on the Xbox 360.
Turn the device around and snap the two plastic tabs on each side of the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter into the slots on the back of the console.
Insert the USB plug on the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter into the USB port on the back of the device.
Raise the antennas on the adapter. If you are using the Wireless G network adapter (grey), the device should display a red light when it is connected and receiving a signal. If you are using a Wireless N adapter (black), it will display a green light when it is properly connected.
Configure Wireless Settings
Power on the Xbox 360 and TV console. Select "My Xbox" and choose "System Settings."
Select "Network Settings" and "Configure Network."
Select "Wireless Mode" on the Basic Settings tab. Choose "Scan for Networks." The Xbox 360 will scan for all available networks.
Select the wireless network to connect to from the list of available networks. Enter the network key (or password) when prompted. (Some networks won't require a password.) Hit "Done."
Press the "B" button on the Xbox 360 controller and select "Test Xbox Live Connection." If the connection is working, you will see "Xbox LIVE is up and running" in the status window.
