How to Use XBox Parts in a PC

An Xbox video game console that has been discarded can still be useful, as both its hard disc drive (HDD) and DVD drive can be removed and installed into a PC. The procedure for removing the Xbox's HDD and DVD drive is straightforward and does not require any mechanical or electronic skills, although a special tool from a hardware store will be needed along with some common tools found in most households. Installing the Xbox's HDD and DVD drive into the PC is also a straightforward procedure.
