How to Get Free Micropoints for XBox 360

Microsoft points can be used on the Xbox 360's marketplace to rent and purchase videos, renew your Xbox Live subscription, purchase arcade- and full-version games as well as downloadable content for those games. Ordinarily, Microsoft points must be purchased at a rate of 80 points to one dollar (1,600 Microsoft points costs $20). There is a free alternative, though.

  Open your Internet browser and navigate to www.rewards1.com/login.php.

  Create an account. You will need to supply a username and password, country of residence and an e-mail address.

  Validate your e-mail address and log in to Rewards1.

  Select the "Offers" tab and uncheck all of the boxes except for "Free," eliminating offers that require you to purchase items.

  Browse through the offers and complete any that appeal to you in order to earn points. Most listed offers include information on what triggers the point conversion.

  Complete the surveys if you run out of offers or cannot find any offers that appeal to you. You can find the surveys by holding your mouse cursor over the "Offers" tab and then selecting "Daily Survey."

  Select "Code Rewards," under the "Rewards" tab, once you completed enough offers and request Xbox 360 Live points as your reward. You will need to earn 20 points to purchase 1,600 points or 45 points to purchase 4,000 points.

  Check your e-mail for a message from Rewards1. This e-mail will contain a code that you can enter into your Xbox 360 for Microsoft points.
