How to Make an NXE Avatar

Rare, the makers of Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo-Kazooie were called by Microsoft to create the Avatar characters for the revamp of the Xbox 360's software. This "New Xbox Experience" began late 2008, and now the millions of Xbox and Xbox Live users have an adorable personalized Avatar to represent them. Creating your own customized Avatar is an entertaining process to make a virtual you for interacting with friends and family over Xbox Live.

Instructions

  Turn on your Xbox 360 console. Navigate to the "Sign In" menu and select "Create Profile." Give your profile a name. You will be taken to create an Avatar character.

  Choose an Avatar as a starting point from the crowd that most closely resembles you.

  Select "Change My Features" to customize the psychical appearance of your Avatar. You can change the Avatar's hairstyle, eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose, chin, mouth, and other facial features. Select "Skin Color and Body" to alter the Avatar's height, weight and skin tone.

  Press "Change My Style" to dress your Avatar in a wide selection of pre-installed clothing and accessories. Choose from tops, bottoms, headwear, makeup, shoes and props that the Avatar will interact with to make it your own style. Finish dressing your Avatar and save your favorite outfit by selecting "My Outfits" to save it to the hard drive.
