How to Connect an iPod to an Xbox

Power on your Xbox 360 and a controller.

Log into your Xbox LIVE profile on the home screen if you do not have it set to automatically log in.

Select “Game Marketplace” and choose “All Games.”

Scroll to “O” and open “Optional Media Update.”

Select and download “iPod Support.”

Return to the home screen.

Connect your iPod to the Xbox using the iPod USB cable (the USB ports are located under the power button on the console).

Select “My Xbox” on the screen.

Open “Music Library.”

Choose the iPod device on the screen, and start playing music from the list of music that appears on the screen.
