Turn on your Xbox 360. Wait a second or two while the console powers up and displays your main menu.
Look on the back of your console and make sure that the Xbox 360 wireless adapter is on and ready to be configured. If the indicator light is green, proceed to the next step. If the indicator light is red or not present, you need to unplug your Xbox 360 wireless adapter and properly connect it to your system before you can continue.
Select "My Xbox" from your Xbox 360&'s main menu.
Select "System Settings."
Select "Network Settings" and then "Configure your Network."
Select "Wireless Mode."
Select "Scan for Networks."
Select your wireless laptop computer&'s network name from the list you see on your television. If you password-protected this network, use your Xbox 360 controller to enter in the password now.
Select "Done." Your Xbox 360 is now connected to your laptop computer&'s wireless Internet connection. Play games by selecting "Xbox Live" from your console&'s main menu.
