Remove the Xbox 360 power supply’s AC plug from the wall socket. Pull the other end of the AC plug out of the connector on one side of the power supply.
Place the tip of the flat-edged screwdriver beneath one of the rubber feet on the four corners of the power supply. Lift up on the tip of the flat-edged screwdriver to loosen the rubber foot. Pull the rubber foot off with your fingers. Repeat this procedure with the other three rubber feet.
Remove the screws that are beneath the rubber feet with the Phillips screwdriver. Place the screws aside.
Insert the edge of the putty knife into the seam at the edge of the left side of the power supply facing you. Pull up on the putty knife to loosen the bottom of the power supply from the top.
Insert the edge of the putty knife into the seam at the middle of the left side of the power supply facing you. Pull up on the putty knife to loosen the bottom of the power supply from the top.
Insert the edge of the putty knife into the seam at the at the edge of the right side of the power supply facing you. Pull up on the putty knife to loosen the bottom of the power supply from the top.
Repeat this entire procedure with the putty knife on the other side of the power supply.
Insert the edge of the putty knife back into the seam at the edge of the right side of the power supply facing you. Insert the edge of another putty knife into the seam at the edge of the right side of the power supply facing away from you.
Pull up on both putty knives to raise the right side of the bottom of the power supply off the top.
Remove the putty knives. Pull the bottom of the power supply off the top. Place the bottom of the power supply aside.
