XBox 360 Instructions

The Xbox 360, developed by Microsoft, gives users access to a wide variety of games, movies and music. Using the latest in fiber optic and HDMI cable technology, the Xbox 360 is capable of displaying high-definition visual entertainment. Games, music and movies can be played from the system&'s built-in disk or from the hard drive. Operating the Xbox 360 requires a basic understanding of its functions.

  Plug the Xbox 360 power cord into the A/C adapter located on the back of the console and into a conveniently located power outlet.

  Plug one end of the HDMI cable or fiber optic audio/video cable into the corresponding slot located on the back of the Xbox 360 and the other end into the appropriate port located on the back of your TV. If you are using a fiber optic audio/video cable, use the color-coding of the plug-ins to see the appropriate plug-in spot for your TV.

  Power on your console by pushing the large circular power button located on the front of the Xbox 360 or by turning on an Xbox 360 controller that has been synced to the console.

  Navigate the menus of the Xbox 360 dashboard using the left thumb-stick on your Xbox 360 controller. Push "A" on your controller to select any currently selected menu.

  Open and close the Xbox 360 disc drive by pushing the button located to the left of the disk tray on the front of the Xbox 360. Place games, DVDs and CDs into this disk drive, label up, to access their content.
