How to Play a DivX DVD on an Xbox 360

technology can be a marvelous thing. If you have an AVI file, it is possible to convert it to a DivX DVD capable of holding multiple movies. (The number will depend on the size of the movies). The Xbox 360 allows users to play these DivX DVDs. There are no special requirements, other than making sure the Xbox 360 is up to date.

     Turn on the Xbox 360 and go to the "Dashboard."

     Insert the DixX DVD into the Xbox 360.

     Choose "Media," then select "Video." Press "A."

     Press "X," then select "Current Disc" and press "A."

     Select the file you want to play after the Xbox 360 scans the folders on the DVD.
