Things You'll Need
Instructions
Purchase a Torx screwdriver with a T8 head. This type of screwdriver is inexpensive and is available at many hardware stores. It is necessary to have, in order to properly remove the Xbox 360 controller screws.
Unplug the Xbox 360 controller if it's wired. If it's wireless, be sure the power switch is off. Bring the controller to a table and turn it upside down to access the screws.
Insert the T8 Torx screwdriver into the holes on the back of the controller. Deep inside these holes are the screws. Rotate the screwdriver to the left to remove each screw. There are seven screws around the perimeter of the controller.
