Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug your Xbox controller from the port in the front of the console if it is not wireless.
Turn your Xbox controller over, unplug the battery pack from the middle of the device, and use your Phillips screwdriver to remove all seven screws on the back panel of the controller.
Lift the green circuit board out of the front housing of the controller and set it aside.
Use your soldering iron to solder the ends of both of your wires to the metal panel on the bottom of the push switch (available from any electronics store).
Locate the metal pin in the lower right corner of circuit board. Solder the end of one of your wires to the top of this pin.
Locate the metal pin in the top middle area of the circuit board. Solder the end of the other wire to this pin.
Drill a hole in the lower handle of the back controller housing. The only thing you need to make sure of is that the bit on your drill is as big as the diameter of the push button.
Place the circuit board back into the front half of the controller housing. Then fit the push button in the hole you just drilled in the back half of the controller. Make sure the button is facing outward.
Fit the back half of the controller over the front and replace the screws and battery pack. You can now manually have turbo every time you press the button on the lower handle of your controller.
