Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off your Xbox console. Unplug the controller from the console port if it is not a wireless controller.
Turn the controller face-down. Unplug the battery pack from the center of the device.
Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove all six screws located on the back of the controller. Lift the back portion of the controller from the front. Set the back half aside; the green circuit board will be exposed in the front half.
Lift the circuit board out of the controller housing; place it on a sturdy work surface.
Solder one end of each wire to the top of the push button
Locate the silver pin in the bottom right corner of the motherboard; solder the end of one of your wires to this pin.
Solder the end of your remaining wire to the silver LED pin located in the top middle area of the circuit board.
Use your electric drill to drill a hole in the trigger area of the back controller housing. Use a drill bit the size of the push button plus just enough play to ensure the button doesn't stick.
Fit the push button into the hole, so the button is sticking out and can move freely. Replace the circuit board in the front housing and fit the two halves of the housing together.
Replace the screws on the back of the controller and the battery pack. The push button can now be used to switch to rapid fire while playing games.
