Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug your 360 controller from the port in the front of the system and remove the square battery pack from the back of the controller.
Use your screwdriver to remove the six screws on the back of the controller. Then remove the single screw located in the middle of the battery compartment.
Pull the back half of the controller gently off the front and set the back half aside. The green circuit board will now be exposed in the front half of the controller.
Lift the circuit board gently out of the controller frame and place it on a sturdy surface like a desk or table.
Use your electric drill to drill a hole in the bottom right handle of the back half of the controller. This is where you will fit the push switch (available from any electronics store). Just make sure the drill bit you use isn&'t any larger than the diameter of the push switch.
Fit the push switch in the hole in the controller and tighten the included hexagonal bolt around the front of it to secure it to the controller.
Solder one end of one of your wires to the back panel on the push switch. Then locate the three silver pins in the lower right corner of the circuit board and solder the other end of the wire to the middle pin.
Turn the circuit board over and locate the silver pin marked TP53. It is in the top middle portion of the circuit board.
Solder one end of your remaining wire to the pin and the other to the pad on the back of the push switch.
Wait a few moments for the solder to dry, then turn the circuit board right-side up and fit it into the front half of the controller.
Fit the back half of the controller over the front and replace the screws and battery pack. Your 360 controller is now modified.
