How to Play XBox Games on an XBox 360 Console

With the Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console, gamers can play hundreds of high-tech Xbox 360 video games. Although these games are the main attraction of the Xbox 360, the Xbox 360 is also capable of playing games originally released on the original Xbox. These older Xbox games can provide countless hours of entertainment despite being technologically outdated.

Instructions

  Insert the original Xbox game that you want to play into the Xbox 360 console.

  Press the "A" button to start the game. As long as the system is connected to a broadband Internet connection, a menu will immediately pop up asking you to download an update to allow the game to be played on the Xbox 360.

  Press the "A" button again to download the update to the Xbox 360&'s hard drive. The original Xbox game you inserted into the system can now be played. These steps must be repeated each time a different original Xbox game is inserted into the system.
