How to Get Free XBox 360 Marketplace Points

Microsoft&'s Xbox 360 users can go online to Xbox Live Marketplace to purchase and download video games, movies, television shows, avatar accessories and game add-ons using Microsoft Points. Microsoft Points are online currency for Xbox Live, and cost real money to purchase; however, there are websites that provide "free" gifts, like Microsoft Point codes, for performing survey work. All you have to do is register for one of these sites and fill out surveys to earn credits to get Microsoft Points.

  Go online to the Points2Shop link in References.

  Click on the "Register Here" option.

  Create your account by making up your username and password, and provide your email address. Read the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy before checking the boxes available. Click the "Create Account" option.

  Verify your email address by going to your email account and clicking the link provided in the message "Action Required to Activate Membership for Points2Shop."

  Click the "Verify your account" option in the new "Points2Shop" window that opens.

  Click on the links next to their respective point values, and follow the directions to take the survey. When you&'re done with the survey, click the "visit" option to claim the offer. The offer will be pending for a limited amount of time, but once it is verified the points will be credited to your account.

  Go to the Points2Shop registration page (see References) to finish registering your account by providing your name, address and date of birth.

  Click the "Spend Points" tab to browse through the provided gifts until you find an offer for Xbox 360 Live Points/Microsoft Points. Make sure you have enough points available to redeem your gift code before you click on an offer. Your Microsoft Points code will be sent to your email address.
