Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug your 360 controller from its port in the console and turn it over.
Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove all screws on the back of the controller. Then remove the back half of the controller from the front. The green circuit board will now be exposed in the front half of the controller.
Locate the three protruding silver pins in the lower-right corner of the circuit board and use your soldering iron to solder one end of a length of wire to the top of the middle pin.
Solder the other end of the wire to the end of your push switch.
Lift the circuit board out of the front half of the controller and turn it over. Locate the metal pin on the top of the back of the circuit board labeled TP53.
Solder one end of another length of wire to the TP53 pin and solder the other end to the bottom of the push switch.
Use your electric drill to drill a hole in the grip area of the back housing of the controller. Make sure your drill bit is no bigger than the diameter of the push switch.
Fit your push switch into the hole so the switch is sticking out of the controller. Then reassemble your controller in the reverse order you took it apart.
