How to Set Up a Wireless Network Adapter for an XBox 360

To the chagrin of many Xbox enthusiasts, the original Xbox 360 did not come with a built-in wireless adapter. This includes any Xbox 360 released prior to June 15, 2010 (a date which saw the release of a new design that includes a built-in adapter). To enable wireless on the older Xbox 360 consoles, you need to purchase and install the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, a standalone product that is available from Microsoft.
