How to Get Rid of Scars in Fable

Scars were introduced in Fable 2 as an alternate to reloading a checkpoint. Rather than have the player be killed when he loses a fight, the player is knocked down. Knockdowns result in scars which will make the player less attractive to the characters in the game world. With the introduction of scar vanishing potions in the Fable 2 DLC "Knothole Island" scars can now be removed by purchasing these potions at a shop on Knothole Island.

Instructions

  Purchase the Knothole Island DLC from the Xbox Marketplace. Knothole Island costs 800 Microsoft points.

  Run Fable 2.

  Travel to the Bowerstone Market in game. A new quest will be present in your quest log. Head down to the river. Under the bridge will be a submarine pilot. He will offer to take you to Knothole Island. Accept and travel to Knothole Island.

  Visit the Cosmetician&'s Shop. Here you can purchase Scar Vanishing Potions. These cost between 1,000 and 3,000 gold. The varying sizes heal different amounts of scarring. Using these potions will remove scars, but add to your corruption. You may wish to eat some celery afterward to reduce your corruption.
