Instructions
Plug the storage device into the Xbox 360 console. The storage device needs to have enough free space to hold the backup copy of the game.
Turn the console on. The Xbox Dashboard menu will appear.
Highlight “My Xbox” in the Dashboard menu.
Scroll to the right until “System Settings” is highlighted. Press the “X” button to select it.
Select “Memory” from the system settings menu. A list of all the storage devices attached to the console will appear.
Select “Hard Drive” from the storage devices. A menu will appear that separates all the files on the Xbox 360 hard drive into categories.
Select “Games” from the memory menu. A list of all the games with any type of file on the hard drive will appear.
Select the Xbox 360 game you want a backup of from the list.
Select the first file from the list that appears. This is the Xbox 360 backup of that game. The file management menu will appear.
Select “Copy” from the file management menu. A list of storage devices will appear.
Select the storage device you want to copy the backup game to. A status bar will appear to indicate the progress of the system in copying the file. The backup copy of the game will be copied to the storage device when this is completed. The original backup will still be on the hard drive.
