How to Put Songs From Flash Drive Onto XBox 360

Using a USB flash drive, you can play music directly off of the flash drive on your Xbox 360 or copy the music files from the flash drive to your console's hard drive. The console supports WMA and MP3 audio formats. Once copied, the songs will be available in the machine's music player. The player can be used as a standalone or enabled while playing games that support the player.

      Turn off the Xbox. Connect the USB flash drive to it, and turn it back on.

      Select the "My Xbox" menu. Scroll to the right and select "System Settings." Select "Memory."

      Select the "USB flash drive." Scroll down and select the "Music" subfolder. Select the song that you want to put on the Xbox 360. Select "Copy." Select the "Xbox 360 hard drive" as the transfer device. Repeat this step until you have all of the music you want on the console.
