Xbox 360 Headset Instructions

The Xbox 360, produced by Microsoft, allows you to communicate with other players through the use of a headset. Using this headset, you can record voice messages, talk to other players during online play, and form private voice parties with friends. The Xbox 360 headset is used in conjunction with the Xbox 360 controller, which acts as a power source for the headset. The headset allows you to set the level of volume as well control when the microphone transmits sounds.

     Plug the 2.5 mm headset connector into the port located on the bottom of the controller.

     Control the volume of the headset by turing the volume control knob. Turn it left to lower the headset volume; turn it right to raise the volume.

     Mute the microphone by pushing the switch on the cable connector toward the picture of crossed-out microphone. Turn the microphone on by pushing the switch toward the picture of the microphone.
