How to Get Surround Sound on XBox 360

The Microsoft Xbox 360 allows for high definition gaming. With the device you may also listen to high quality digital audio. Because the gaming system has a built in digital audio output it is possible to hook up the Xbox 360 directly to a surround sound receiver without first hooking up the device to a television. This saves you the time and money it would take to purchase a second digital audio cable and hook up two different devices.

Things You'll Need
