How to Set Up Xbox Live Without a Network Adapter

Xbox Live is a service provided by Microsoft that allows gamers to download content for games, create unique Avatars and--in the case of an Xbox Gold account--even play online with Xbox-owning friends. Setting up Xbox Live doesn't require the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter, which is sold separately. If your console's within reach of an Internet modem or router, you can use an ethernet cable to get your console online and your Xbox Live account up and running.
