How to Remove Credit Card Information From an XBox 360

The Xbox 360 offers a significant amount of content via Xbox Live. In order to access many of the features available on Xbox Live, you must utilize a source of payment, such as an Xbox Live card of linked credit card. If you need to remove linked credit card information from your Xbox Live account, Microsoft has a way to do it through an online option on the company's support website.

  Sign into your Xbox Live account at.xbox.com.

  Click on the "Marketplace" link at the top right of the home screen.

  Click "My Account" to access your Xbox Live Account options.

  Select "Manage Payment Options" from the list on the left-hand side of the screen.

  Choose the payment option you wish to remove from the list and click "Remove." The site will ask you to confirm that you wish to remove your payment option. Select "Yes." Once completed, your payment information will be removed from the account.
