How to Copy Music to an XBox 360

With the Xbox 360 video game console, you can manually add music to your system by ripping songs from a CD. In order to rip audio tracks, your Xbox 360 must come with a hard drive. When you copy songs from a CD, they are stored in your Music folder on your dashboard after the songs are converted to Windows Media Audio format. The copied music can then be played while you manage your Xbox 360 or play a video game.
