Building at Mumbo's Motors
Explore Showdown Town thoroughly and bring as many purple crates full of machine parts to Mumbo's Motors. These crates will give you a larger garage with more vehicle part options to flesh out the unique Halo-themed machines. Choose a vehicle from the Halo universe to rebuild in Mumbo's Motors.
Enter the garage and choose your seat. Place the seat in the middle of the vehicle, as symmetry is a running theme of the machinery from the Halo series. Stability and structure are key to making the vehicles work properly. Keep both sides of the machine as evenly weighted as possible to avoid tipping over, and keep wheels on the outermost corners of the vehicles for increased stability. Use the High-Grip tires for increased control and to better simulate the feel of a Halo Warthog or Mongoose.
Most land vehicles from the Halo series are light, bouncy and jump far when speeding over hills and bumps in the terrain. Emulate this result by building the foundation of Warthogs, Mongoose ATVs and Ghosts with "Light" or "Super" weighted parts. Heavier machines like Elephants and Wraiths require Weighty "Heavy" parts and can be supplemented with the "Sinker" part for extra sluggishness when needed.
Build flying vehicles such as Banshees and Hornets with "Light" and "Super" weighted body parts to reduce the time it takes to get them off the ground. Use "Jet" pieces to make the vehicles appear to have rocket engines like the Halo games. Do not use Mumbo's selection of Wings and Propellers, as none of these helpful parts will help to make your machine resemble the Halo vehicles. Choose body machine parts to naturally streamline the vehicle for a smoother flight.
Weaponry is a destructive and fun finishing detail for the authentic Halo vehicle. Give a Warthog a Grenade or Egg turret on the back for that chaotic drive-and-shoot feel from the Halo games. Covenant vehicles should be given the devastating Laser weapon for a decidedly alien appearance. Get creative with the Covenant vehicles and attach an E.M.P. to disable other machines.
