How to Hook Up XBox 360 Live With NetZero Internet

Playing Xbox is fun, but playing online with Xbox 360 Live can be even better. When you use Xbox Live, you join an online group with other players. You can download new portions of your games from the Xbox Live site, or you can play some of your games live, competing against players all over the world. If you have an Internet connection through NetZero, it's easy to get your Xbox Live service up and running.

Modem or router
Ethernet cable
Xbox Live Minutes Card or Credit Card

Instructions

  Contact NetZero to make sure you have a high-speed DSL connection. Even though NetZero is a dial-up company, it also offers high-speed DSL. Switch to that service if you do not have it.

  Connect your Xbox to your modem or router with an Ethernet cable. It plugs into the back of your Xbox, and the other end plugs into the back of your modem or router.

  Turn on your Xbox.

  Select "Menu" and then "Connection" and then "New Connection." The Xbox will search for your Internet connection. Once it has connected, you will see an Xbox Live button in your menu.

  Click on Xbox Live. You will need to pay for service with a credit card or with an Xbox Live minutes card in order to participate.
