Remove the faceplate from the Xbox 360 by opening the flap on the right side of the faceplate where the USB drives are located. Put your finger on the bottom edge of the USB slot and gently pull outward. Put your finger on the top of the slot and lightly pull it toward you. The faceplate should come off easily.
Microsoft uses three kinds of CD drives, and depending on which one is in yours, the holes you will be looking for are in different areas. Locate the small hole; If you have a Samsung or Toshiba drive use the small hole on the right. It should be right underneath the X on the DVD drive faceplate. Straighten out half of your paperclip and stick it in the hole until you feel it hit something.
Spin the gear with the paper clip going from left to right until you see the CD drive start to come out. You can pull on it slowly and carefully while still spinning the gear to get your game out.
Locate the small hole on the left if you are using a Hitatchi DVD drive. The Hitatchi brand will require more effort to spin the gear, but when the CD drive starts to come out you can gently pull on the drive while you spin the gear.
Push the CD tray back in and replace the faceplate.
