How to Use a Lag Switch on COD4

Call of Duty 4 (COD4) is a fast action war game that can be played on the Internet against other opponents. A lag switch allows for cheating while playing online, by interrupting the flow of data from your game console to the server that is running the game. This lets you move about without being seen until you reactivate the lag switch. Your abilities to succeed while playing COD4 will improve dramatically when using the lag switch. Flipping the switch to turn the lag switch on and off does not harm the COD4 game or the game console it is being used on.

Instructions

  Turn on the game console. Insert the COD4 game disc into the game console's disc drive. Select "online campaign" from the game's home menu to play the game online.

  Move your online character through the battlefield. Stop moving when you see a tank just 100 feet or so away. Activate the lag switch. Walk up to the tank without fear of reprisal. Place a grenade round in your rifle's launcher tube. Fire the grenade into the tank. Deactivate the lag switch. Watch the tank ignite into flames.

  Continue moving through the battlefield. Stop moving when you sight an enemy soldier too far away to shoot at. Activate the lag switch. Sprint up to the back of the enemy solder. Aim your rifle at his head. Deactivate the lag switch. Shoot the enemy soldier before he has a chance to turn around.

  Run into the midst of an ambush. Get killed by the group of enemy soldiers who were hiding in wait for you. Reactivate your character so you can continue playing. Activate the lag switch. Run back into the midst of the ambush, which now has every enemy solider seemingly frozen in place. Arrange yourself so that you can shoot at all of the enemy soldiers. Deactivate the lag switch. Take out all of the enemy soldiers with rapid fire.

  Approach the side of a building. Open the door and enter the building. Get killed by an enemy soldier waiting on the other side of the door. Reactive your character so you can continue playing. Activate the lag switch. Open the door and enter the building. Stand to the side of the enemy solider who is waiting on the other side of the door. Deactivate the lag switch. Shoot the enemy solder at point-blank range.
