How to Change Music in the Game Forza 2

The Xbox 360 racing game Forza Motorsports 2 offers simulation racing featuring cars and tracks from all over the world. However, while music can be heard during the menu screens, no music is offered during gameplay. The Xbox 360 easily remedies this problem for racers wishing to listen to their favorite tunes while mastering the game's multitude of race tracks. The Xbox 360 makes music stored on the hard drive available for access during gameplay, essentially giving the entire Xbox 360 library custom soundtrack functionality.

  Turn on the Xbox 360 console. Insert the music CD containing the music you wish to play to the disc drive. The Xbox 360 music player will start automatically.

  Select "Rip CD." All tracks will be selected by default. Choose the tracks you wish to rip onto the console's hard drive and select "Rip CD" again to begin the process. If the album information is not updated immediately, you can manually enter the information while the ripping process takes place or at any other time.

  Eject the music CD when the ripping process completes.

  Insert the game disc to the console disc drive. If the game does not begin automatically, start the game from the "My Xbox" section of the dashboard.

  Press the Xbox Guide button on the controller during gameplay.

  Select "Music Library" from the Xbox Guide. Choose "Hard Drive" under the "Select Source" option.

  Choose the type of music to be played. Music is organized by albums, artists, saved playlists, songs and genres. Selecting "Play All" under the "Hard Drive" section of the menu to play every song on the hard drive. Once you have located the music you wish to play, press the "A" button to play the selection.

  Exit the Xbox Guide menu. The music selected during Step 7 now will play during the game.
