How to Use XBox Monster Cables

The MIcrosoft Xbox 360, much like other seventh-generation game consoles, has the ability to display images in high-definition resolutions, such as 720p and 1080p. However, the cables needed to display these images at maximum clarity do not come with the Xbox 360. The Monster Game Link cable has been designed specifically for the Xbox 360 and can be easily connected to any television, making use of the HDMI port on the back of the system.

  Connect one end of the Monster cable to an available HDMI port on the back of your Xbox 360.

  Connect the other end of the Monster cable to the HDMI port on your television.

  Turn on your television and Xbox 360. Select the "My Xbox" option in your Xbox 360 main menu.

  Select the "Settings" option in the My Xbox menu, then select the "Display" option.

  Change the display option to reflect your television optimum display settings. Since your television has an HDMI port, either 720p or 1080p (in the "HDTV Settings" menu) are your best options.
