Remove all cables connected to the Xbox. Remove any gamepad controllers from the connectors on the Xbox.
Place a soft cloth on a table. Place the Xbox face down on the soft cloth.
Scratch off the two stickers on the bottom of the Xbox near the top right side and the bottom left side with the tip of the Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the tip of the Phillips screwdriver beneath one of the rubber feet on a corner of the bottom of the Xbox.
Lift up on the tip of the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the rubber foot. Pull the rubber foot off with your fingers. Repeat this procedure to remove the other three rubber feet.
Tear of a strip of cellophane tape. Wrap the strip of cellophane tape around the tip of the Phillips screwdriver.
Insert the tip of the Phillips screwdriver into the screw that was hidden by the rubber foot in the upper left corner of the bottom of the Xbox. Push down on the Phillips screwdriver while turning the tip counter clockwise to loosen the screw. Stop turning the screw once it has been loosened.
Grab the head of the screw with the jaws of the needle-nosed pliers. Turn the screw counterclockwise until it comes out of the bottom of the Xbox.
Repeat this entire procedure with the three screws that are in the upper right, bottom left and bottom right of the Xbox.
Repeat this entire procedure with the two screws that were hidden beneath the two stickers.
Turn the Xbox over. Place one hand on each side of the Xbox. Lift the Xbox's outer case off with your hands.
