How to Use a Lag Switch in Halo 3

A lag switch is a device that interferes with the signal coming from the Internet as it goes into a video game console. The lag switch lets you change the way an online game plays by making your actions work in a different manner than they would otherwise. You can use a lag switch in Halo 3 to effectively change the way the game plays when you are online and perform much better in the game than your online opponents will.

Instructions

- 1
  Turn on the Xbox 360 and insert the Halo 3 video game disc into the Xbox. Wait for the game menu to appear. Select "Online campaign" to play against others over the Internet.

  Approach an enemy. Activate the lag switch. Walk up to the enemy and stand at his left side. Deactivate the lag switch so that you appear to have teleported from in front of the enemy to his side. Shoot the enemy with your weapon.

  Approach another enemy. Activate the lag switch. Lunge directly towards the enemy. Deactivate the lag switch. You will appear to have teleported behind the enemy. Shoot the enemy with your weapon.

  Scout out an enemy who is standing behind a force field or other invisible protective barrier from a hidden location. Approach the enemy and then retreat.

  Activate the lag switch. Run over to the force field or other invisible protective barrier that the enemy was behind. Deactivate the lag switch. You will now be behind the enemy. Shoot the enemy with your weapon.

  Approach a number of enemies who are facing you both on the floor and on surfaces raised from the floor like a catwalk or bridge.

  Activate the lag switch. Run past the enemies and up the ladder or stairs to the catwalk or bridge. Deactivate the lag switch.

  Shoot the enemies on the catwalk or bridge with your weapon. Activate the lag switch.

  Run to one side of the catwalk or bridge. Set your weapon at full automatic.

  Deactivate the lag switch. Fire rapid bursts at the enemies below you to kill them all.
