How to Get the Green Minion Hive
Go to the Evernight Forest to obtain the green minion hive. You can find the entrance in the backyard farmland in the Mellow Hills (the first area explored in Overlord). Once inside you will see that Oberon's tree is blocking your path. You will need brown minions to get past it.
Look for brown minion portals. They are located near the entrance to the Evernight Forest. Use your game controller to access the minion portal and cast a bunch of brown minions.
Destroy all the root bulbs located on Oberon's tree. Use the brown minions and the Overlord to complete the task. Once done you will have access to the Viridian Caverns area.
Travel to the Viridian Caverns. Look for some green minions and follow them through the area until you reach a bridge. Use your minions to move blocks that will close the gaps. Beyond this are spitting plants. Run past them until you see the green minion hive surrounded by poisonous plants.
Use the green minions to pick up the green minion hive and remove the poisonous plants in your path. Move back toward where you entered the Evernight Forest. You will then encounter a wild troll.
Fight and kill the wild troll. Use the green minions to attack from behind. Once the troll is defeated you can safely exit the Evernight Forest and go back to Mellow Hills.
Take the green minion hive to the tower portal in Mellow Hills. Once you arrive in this area your minions will automatically travel and place the hive in the tower portal.
How to Get to the Blue Minions
Walk the Overlord to the tower portal in Mellow Hills. Select the option to travel to the tower. Once you arrive you can select a new area to explore by using the throne interface.
Access the throne interface by pressing the X button on your controller. Select the Heaven's Peak area.
Go to where your blue minions are trapped by the poisonous green stuff. Look for a nearby minion portal and cast some green minions.
Target the green stuff with the left trigger button on your controller. Use the right trigger button to direct your green minions to remove it. You will know that the barrier is removed once you no longer see any green stuff.
Free the trapped blue minions by walking past the cleared barrier.
