Wireless G Networking Adapter (small with one antennae)
Turn off the Xbox 360. Connect the Wireless G Networking Adapter to any USB port on the Xbox 360.
Turn on the Xbox 360. Verify that the light on the Networking Adapter is red. Red indicates that the device is ready for configuration.
Scroll to the "My Xbox" tab. Select "System Settings." Select "Network Settings." Select "Configure Network."
Under the Basic Settings tab, select "Wireless Mode." Select "Scan for Networks." Choose your wireless network. Enter the password for the network (if any).
Select "Done." Select "Test Xbox Live Connection." After the test is complete, return to the "My Xbox" menu. Select "Join Xbox Live." Follow the user-specific instructions onscreen to complete the registration process.
Wireless N Networking Adapter (large with two anteennae)
Turn off the Xbox 360. Connect the Wireless N Networking Adapter to the plastic tabs on the back of the Xbox. The tabs are above the Ethernet and USB port. Plug the adapter into the USB port below. Position the antennae so that both of them are facing upward.
Turn on the Xbox 360. Verify that the light on the Networking Adapter is red. Red indicates that the device is ready for configuration.
Scroll to the "My Xbox" tab. Select "System Settings." Select "Network Settings." Select "Configure Network."
Under the Basic Settings tab, select "Wireless Mode." Select "Scan for Networks." Choose your wireless network. Enter the password for the network (if any).
