How to Use the Xbox Wireless Headset With a PC

The Xbox 360 gaming console is produced by the same company that creates the Windows operating system for computers: Microsoft. All of the accessories for the Xbox 360, including wireless headsets, can easily be used on any computer running the Windows operating system. This was done to allow the tie-in between Windows Live and Xbox 360's Live content.

Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver

Instructions

  Remove the green sticker on the front of the USB connector on the wireless receiver.

  Plug the receiver into a USB port on your computer.

  Insert the installation disc that comes with the receiver for Windows. Follow the installation instructions that appear on your computer's screen.

  Turn on the Xbox 360 headset that you want to use with your computer.

  Press the "Connect" button on the receiver. The light will start to flash green.
- 6
  Press the "Connect" button on the wireless headset you want to use. The green lights on the accessory and the receiver will stop flashing and shine steadily to signify that they are connected.
