Select "Career Mode" from the main menu by pressing "A" on the controller.

Choose "Upgrades." Select "Livery Editor." The "A" confirms all selections within the editor.

Pick a base color from the in-game's wide selection. Add "shapes" to give the car a distinct paint job. Rotate the shapes with the analog stick. Once the livery is complete, press "done."
