How to Enable Cheats for Call of Duty 4

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" is a first-person shooting game available on several consoles, like the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and the PC. Unlocking cheats is a matter of collecting hidden items called "Intel" throughout the game; collect 30 pieces of "intel" to unlock a total of eight cheats, including infinite ammo, slow-motion, and special video filters. Enabling the cheats can be a little tricky for anyone who doesn't know how, but it's a breeze once you figure it out.

  Pause the game during game play. You cannot access the cheats from the main menu before a mission; it must be during a mission.

  Scroll down to "Options" and press the "A" button (Xbox 360), "X" button (PS3) or right click (PC).

  Scroll down and highlight the "Cheats" option, then press the "A" button (Xbox 360), "X" button (PS3) or right click (PC). Here, you will be able to toggle on or off any of the cheats you have unlocked by pressing the "A" button (Xbox 360),"X" button (PS3) or right click (PC).

  Press "Start" (Xbox 360 or PS3) or "Enter" (PC) to resume playing the game. The cheats you enabled will be active until turned off.
