Adding Decals
Go to the garage menu and select the "My Cars" option. Use your directional pad to select the car you would like to customize, and press the "A" button. Choose "Decals" from the next menu by using the directional pad and pressing the "A" button.
Press the left joystick left and right, in order to choose which part of the car you would like to add a decal to.

Alter the decal by pressing "LB" or "RB" to toggle through the altering options. You can make the decal bigger, smaller, flip it in different directions, or move it in different directions. All of these options can be manipulated by moving the right and left joysticks up and down, and left and right. For example, to make the decal larger, flick the right joystick right, and the left joystick left--when you are in the "Size" option.
Layer decals by selecting an area of the car that already has a decal. Simply choose another decal and place it. To delete a previous decal, use your directional pad to select the layer in the decal menu. Scroll down to the "Delete" option and press "A."
