Instructions
Plug the AC adapter of your Xbox 360 into a wall outlet. Plug the AC adapter into the back of the Xbox 360 console.
Turn on your Xbox 360 console at the power button on the front of the unit. Wait for the console to boot to the main dashboard.
Insert your USB flash drive or USB hard drive into the USB port on the front of the Xbox 360 console.
Configure your USB device for use with the Xbox 360. You will be prompted for this. Click "OK" and wait for the device to be configured.
Scroll to the "Video" portion of the Xbox 360 main dashboard and scroll down to the file you want to copy.
Press the "X" button on your Xbox 360 controller and choose "Copy" from the choices given. Choose your USB flash drive or your USB hard drive as the destination when prompted.
Wait for the transfer to complete. Unplug your USB flash drive or hard drive from the Xbox 360 console.
Turn on your computer. Wait for the computer to boot to the PC's main home screen.
Plug your USB device into an available USB port on the computer.
Click the "Start" menu on the lower left-hand side of the screen and select "My Computer" from the choices given.
Locate your USB device on this window and double-click on the icon.
Find your video file on the hard drive and click on it. Drag the icon from your USB device to your computer's desktop.
